Penguins and Review:

Three days and counting :)!  This morning, Brendan and Ryan painted while I read about Emperor Penguins, the first explorers to Antarctica, icebergs, etc.  Did you know that Emperor Penguins are (on average) 3 feet tall?  I had no idea that they were that large!  We will be reviewing geography for the next few days.  On Friday we will take a “test” to see how many countries the boys can label compared to the test that they took back in August.

Last Stop…Antarctica!!!

It is hard to believe that we are coming to the end of our amazing  journey.  We landed in Antarctica this morning and started out the day with a “snowball” fight :)!  We found Antarctica on the map, learned some basic information about the climate, copied our last Bible verse, read about glaciers and some of the animals that call Antarctica home, and completed a few workboxes.   A great start to our last adventure of the year!
