The End Of An Era…

…ok, that may be a little dramatic πŸ™‚ but it IS hard to believe that Brendan has now aged out of our AMAZING homeschool P.E. class! Next year he’ll be taking high school classes on Tuesdays. I will forever be grateful for Ms. Alison, the love she’s shared over the past three years, and the life lessons that she has shared with our children.

Look at how much Brendan has changed since May of 2012:

As a fun, end-of-the-year activity we had a dodgeball game – kids against moms πŸ™‚ !

After a lot of “trash talk”, chanting of “no mercy, no mercy”, and a few face blows, well…sadly, the moms got CREAMED!

To be fair, we were very outnumbered and I think the kids had a lot of pent up frustrations to take out on us (that’s what we get for making them do extra math lessons and writing assignments – LOL). After several (sad and pitiful) rounds, the kids actually felt sorry for us and sent a few of the older kids over to help us. Everybody had fun and we all had a few laughs!

Here’s a quick slideshow of the slaughter πŸ™‚ :

  1. Look at how much Brendan has grown in two years! Wow! And, Ryan has grown so much too!

So hard to believe how fast time has gone by with Brendan taking highschool classes next fall! NO! It can’t be! He was just my first grandbaby! Now, he is my grown up first grandchild! And, what a sweetie!

    Love you all so much!
